Dallas Legacy Mission, Inc. fulfills its mission of meeting charitable acts by providing direct impact and grants across five focus areas. Most grant requests should align with one of the five program areas: Veterans, Community, Youth, Seniors, and Humanitarian causes.
For Grant requests over $500.00, the following items will need to be accepted and reviewed. Incomplete applications will not be considered: Application, Cover letter, Current fiscal Budget, and Current program costs.
If you are applying for a mini-grant of $500.00, please complete the attached application and submit a Cover letter that explains the use of funds.
To be considered for funding, an organization must be a nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 tax-exempt status before filing for a grant and needs to serve the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex.
Dallas Legacy Mission, Inc. only awards grants three times each year, May, July and September. Grant Applications open on March 1 of each year. Applications close on August 1 each year.
Mini Grant Awards will be given at the Dallas Legacy Mission Coalition of Hispanic Nonprofits of North Texas Meetings to be held in March, June and September. Please see Coalition Link for Scheudle of meetings.
**Please note: Once an organization gets funded, it will not be eligible to receive any other grant funding for 12 months from the date the grant is awarded.
